Finance Graduate We are exclusively recruiting for a well-established, leading company in Chelmsford who are recruiting for a finance graduate to join their established team, on a permanent basis This is a great opportunity for someone who has a degree in finance and accounting or just completed their AAT level 4. You will join the client programme and rotate around the finance functions. This initial role is responsible for the Fixed Assets Accounting, cost accounting, stock control and inventory analysis. Responsibilities
• Support the business in providing cost effective, efficient, timely and accurate Fixed Asset accounting to the group, ensuring compliance to the Group Accounting Policy
• Monitor actual against budget and forecast for fixed asset projects (c £11M p.a. of capital expenditure in the UK)
• Producing monthly and quarterly reporting on fixed assets, assets under construction and Capital Expenditure
• Support and provide assistance and cover for cost accounting tasks - including product registration, stock control and inventory management (c£20M of net inventory in the UK)
• Support and provide assistance to various periodic accounting processes, including overheads and direct costs absorption for oProduction oCalibration oPlant maintenance
• Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
• Operate within the financial controls and procedures set by the Group at all times
• Support the UK Financial Controller with the delivery of ad-hoc financial and business projects as required Key Requirements for the role:
• Must be a graduate or finishing AAT level 4
• Desire to study for a professional Finance qualification (AAT finalist minimum, moving on to ACCA or CIMA)
• Minimum Intermediate level Microsoft application skills such as word and excel
