MacKenzie King are currently recruiting a Credit Manager for a European business on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. Reporting into the Financial Controller you will have 2 direct reports and be responsible for maximising the companys cashflow and reducing the risk of bad debt through efficient customer credit management. Duties and responsibilities will include: - Credit risk management for all trade customers supplied from the UK and European distribution centre. - Maintaining market relationships/intelligence and responding appropriately to minimise any debt exposure. - Managing a multi currency ledger - Resolving customer queries to ensure any assocaited debt is settled in a timely manner. - Responsibility for renegotiating contracts with credit reference agency and with third party debt collection agency - Liaising with FD and sales Director over key accounts, credit limits and debt concerns. - Preparation of robust and accurate forecasts of cash receivable. You will have previous experience in a Credit Management role with clear communication skills and a track record of applying a flexible and commercial approach to your role.
