The main duties of the assistant accountant (6 month FTC) will be: Balance sheet Reconciliations Supporting the company accountant with month end Accruals and Prepayments Produce monthly VAT Returns Maintaining the general ledger Banking Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) Immediately Available My client are a large fashion company, who's head offices are based out of Welwyn Garden City. Being a market leader in their specific field it is essential that they bring in an assistant accountant who is able to carry themselves in a professional manner on a day to day basis. This contract is to cover a maternity leave for the next 6 months for the assistant accountant (6 month FTC), who is an integral part of the business. There will be a handover period to ensure that the interim assistant accountant is able to understand the companies way's of doing things and also give you the chance to come in and hit the ground running. 6 month FTC On site parking up to £32000 on salary
