School Payroll and Pensions Officer - Long Term Temp Contract Our client is looking for a Payroll specialist to join their team in the Slough area and they are seeking an experienced and proactive individual, you will have the flexibility of part or full time and be able to choose your hours of work. The right candidate will be working with Sage Payroll and MUST be available immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of payroll, this will include: Pensions and benefits coordination and administration Acting as first point of contact for any payroll queries They will work closely with the Finance and HR team to ensure the accurate running of payroll and pensions, Ensuring legal compliance and offering a professional, friendly and efficient service in line with the needs of the school Process an accurate and timely payment of salaries and pension and benefit administration Be responsible for the accurate inputting of all payroll, pensions and benefits data for the school and sports club including new starters/leavers, overtime, time-sheets and expenses in order to complete the monthly payroll submission ready to be signed off by authorised person. Produce monthly payroll journals and work with finance in monthly reconciliation of salaries Be the main point of contact for all payroll, pensions or benefits queries and advice via email and telephone, ensuring that responses are provided within a timely fashion. This includes earnings statements or confirmation required by staff. Ensure compliance with auto enrolment and the issuing of pension letters to new staff and existing staff and recording any opt out requests and forms. Undertake periodic updating and revision of pension forms and payroll templates.
