Accounts Assistant - Full time Watford, Herts We are an award winning commercial property practice based in Hertfordshire and London. We work for some of the best names in the UK. Our team offer an extensive range of services including; commercial property sales and lettings, retail acquisition and disposal services, rent reviews, lease renewals, commercial and residential property valuations, business rates mitigation, building surveying, planning and development consultancy and property management. The Role An excellent opportunity has arisen within our company supporting the finance function as an Assistant Accountant. We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to strengthen our team, providing the Group Accountant with key support on daily operations. This will be a busy role requiring a high level of attention to detail. Responsibilities
• Inputting and updating financial data onto online systems
• Accounts Receivable - Cash Allocations, raising invoices, raising credit notes, basic reconciliations
• Accounts Payable - Input and pay invoices, setting up new suppliers, deal with supplier queries
• Assisting with management accounts
• Employee expenses
• Bank reconciliations
• Variety of ad-hoc accountancy duties
• Allocating cheques and doing the banking.
• Variety of ad-hoc accountancy duties Candidate Requirements
• Proven 2 yrs experience of Accounts Assistant with the above responsibilities
• Qualifications - AAT qualified - part or fully qualified.
• Experience with Xero and Sage accounts and advantage
• Good communication skills
• Be able to work independently.
