Adecco Harlow are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant opportunity available on behalf of our client based in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire. Our client are willing to invest in the successful candidate, such as providing training for qualifications. The successful candidate will have proven experience on Sage 200 within a similar position. Main Responsibilities Day to day management of the Purchasing Cycle Ensure that the Purchase Orders are completed Communicate with the warehouse in timely fashion Work to resolve and investigate discrepancies Assist the Accounting Manager in the management of Suppliers Maintenance of the Purchase Ledger and Creditors Sub - Ledger Process third - party invoices Ensure that Accounting entries are processed correctly, for the right amount and to the right account Process expenses for the staff in a timely manner Manage the Cash float to field engineers Take payments over the phone from the customers Maintain and reconcile the Petty Cash Ledger Assist the Accounts Manager with month-end and year-end routines Manage the capture of payroll information and its submission to the Company's third- party provider Person Specification Good Numerical skills with accounting Knowledge Familiar with Microsoft Office and Windows Good Interpersonal skills Ability to communicate at all levels including third parties We regret that due to volume of response, we can only contact successful applicants.
