An outstanding opportunity has arisen in joining an award winning Financial Services Organisation; they are looking to build a MI Project Team to help deliver requirements of a recent acquisition. This role is based at their new offices in Stoke and join their ever growing Client Reporting Team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding the current MI capabilities and requirements of a newly acquired business in Doncaster, and playing an integral part in the transition of this workload to the existing MI team based in Bristol. The successful candidate will be joining a high performing and growing team responsible for all MI of our Claims Solution business. There is great opportunity to learn and gain exposure to the wider business and the senior leadership team helping to deliver the successful integration of a major strategic acquisition. Key Responsibilities The individual will work closely with the MI Project Manager and key stakeholders of the acquired business, in identifying, mapping and documenting existing business processes, evaluating output requirements and formats Assist the MI Project Manager in defining project requirements and identifying key milestones Construct workflow charts and diagrams Identifying problems and writing improved procedures Create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes Produce written documentation to support your work and findings, presenting to stakeholders as and when necessary Travelling to acquired business in Doncaster Travelling to Stoke office to liaise and cooperate with IT teams and functions. Identification of required resources i.e. Developers, for successful delivery of project Key Deliverables Map and document existing processes Assistance in the definition of project objectives Assistance in setting milestones that deliver the project on time and to cost Recruitment of new staff for the project Experience Working with Large data sets Good working knowledge of MI/BI tools Delivery of MI Solutions MI Report production Establishing relationships across various departments Skills Analytical and Inquisitive MI/BI Tools (Qlik, Business Objects) MS Excel SQL ETL Impact analysis Good understanding of Information Technology Behavioural Competencies Communication to audiences at all levels Positive attitude to change Detail oriented Ability to learn quickly Well organised Good time management Location : Stoke (primary) - travel to Bristol/Doncaster, including overnight Salary : Up to £30,000 with good Benefits If you feel you have the relevant skills to be considered for this opportunity, please forward an up to date version of your CV and I will contact you within 48 hours to discuss this role in more detail.
