I am currently working with a high-growth, VC-backed media business who are looking to take on a Head of FP&A for 6-9 months to build the FP&A function. The new position has arisen due to recent Series C funding by multiple VC investors. The business is ideally looking to eventually go through another funding round to a larger investor in the next couple of years. 2019 is a crucial year to drive the 5-year plan and drive growth organically within the business. This is an ideal position for someone who wants to join a high-growth SME during an exciting period The Role: Delivering and driving the 5-year plan. Recruiting an analyst and providing ongoing support and training (they will probably be 1-2 years PQ). Business partnering with project managers, sales and HR. Producing detailed commentary packs and producing them to the board. Engaging with stakeholders across the business. Detailed reporting for current investors in business. Designing and building a budget model from scratch - calculating P&L and cash flow. The Requirements: ACA/ACCA/CIMA (fully qualified or equivalent). 2-week availability maximum. 5 years post qualified experience. Experience in a media business is a must have. Proficient modelling skills. Experience in a VC/PE/start-up is a must have. Extra points if you have gone through a funding round.
