Robertson Bell are delighted to be working with an infamous membership body for an Income and Accounts Receivable Officer on a permanent basis. Based in central London. This membership body are at the heart of a nationwide decision-making process which has allowed this role to be presented with a unique opportunity to be involved with area of change dealing with the allocation of money for the income of c. £45 million. Reporting directly into the Financial Controller the day to day responsibilities of this role will include: Managing departmental finances in relation to cash receipts received from external clients and ensure they are allocated to the relevant account. Reviewing and inputting of receivables to the settlement report and resolve any variances that occur. Processing the day to day funds raised by the department and ensure the regularity of updated accounts are in line with relevant compliance. Preparation of the weekly cash report for relevant stakeholders to understand the cash-flow within the organisation. Preparing the monthly bank reconciliations and ensuring that the month end closure is accurate. This is a forward facing and exciting opportunity that requires the postholder to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers to ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
