BlueCrest Recruitment are recruiting for a subsidiary of a huge listed company, with revenues in the billions. It is the largest company within its sector of expertise. Based in fantastic offices not far from London bridge , The culture is excellent and this role essentially is a gateway for the opportunity to progress quickly - and there are many examples of this. You will eventually be the right hand person, a number 2 position to the Financial Controller. The successful Finance Analyst will be a candidate with work experience as either an existing Assistant Management Accountant or Analyst (assisting in preparing accounts too) but who has excellent EXCEL experience. You will be working on International entities which makes this role very exciting and a very meaty role which will Excel you as a Part Qualified Accountant. Furthermore the client is willing to invest in the candidate to make sure you are cross trained in other Finance functions. This is the most important part. Essentially the experience the successful candidate will gain in this role will be invaluable. The successful candidate must know their Debits and Credits. The candidate must also be very good with time management and have awareness of various issues They will have to communicate with various company stakeholders as part of this role is within the commercial team and wider international team. You will be responsible for the integral development of the Sales Commission models Assisting with the production of monthly, quarterly and the annual management accounting process Writing commentary and reports on the company performance Fixed Asset accounting Reconciling Balance sheet & P&L accounts Journals include accruals/prepayments Intercompany and payroll, Fixed assets e.t.c Develop and improve the analytical reporting of revenue within Excel Involved in the preparation of the operations report Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts Supporting with finance projects and system reviews Requirements Experience of working within a similar role Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required such as Pivot tables, V-look ups, Power Pivots (Can learn on the job) Understanding of the creation of financial models Flexibility - willing to work on a variety of projects Part qualified (ACCA or CIMA) Desirable: Finance related degree or equivalent numerical based degree. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be a huge advantage.
