Successful manufacturing business based in the Wakefield area currently have an opening for a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance function. Following a year of growth and expansion, this role is ideal for a financial accountant wanting to gain commercial experience. Ideally you will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified or newly qualified Financial Accountant looking to enhance their career, and gain experience in a fast paced and prosperous team. Working as a Financial Accountant within this changing company you will report directly to the Finance Director and be responsible for: Preparation of annual statutory accounts Timely and accurate management reporting Liaison with auditors and preparation for year-end audit Assist with technical accounting queries raised by the businesses Management and supervision of analysts Assist with a variety of financial duties associated with the month end preparation and submission of regulatory returns Identification of areas for improvement in efficiency and for accounting procedures; take responsibility for implementation Assisting with the development of the balance sheet for budget and forecast purposes Ideally you will be an ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified accountant looking to take a step into the role of Financial Accountant and gain commercial experience.
