CREDIT CONTROLLER - JOB DESCRIPTION 8.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday Credit Controller Purpose of role To be part of a busy, medium sized credit control team reporting to the Credit Control Manager & Financial Controller. Your job is to ensure all processes are followed correctly to facilitate the timely collection of funds. Our company has clients in many difference sectors and different processes need to be followed for each client, therefore it is imperative that you have a good understanding of credit control processes and the confidence to liaise with both internal colleagues and external parties. Credit Controller Job Description Working to reduce aged debt and clear outstanding balances Responsible for several key accounts and other standard accounts Chasing invoices via phone and email Dealing with all account queries Liaising with account managers / directors regarding any client queries Dealing with clients regarding requirements to pay invoices Posting and allocating receipts in a timely manner Checking weekly invoices and POs Updating weekly spreadsheets with invoice info, POs, rejections & other queries General administrative duties as administration is a big part of the role Credit Controller Candidate Skills Strong attention to detail Good excel skills Ability to manage own workload Confident communicator with experience liaising at all levels A driven and ambitious individual keen to contribute to group success in the company Able to work to deadlines and targets An enthusiastic and pro-active individual Excellent written and verbal communication skills Credit Controller Relevant Experience Required Good experience in credit control or administration (essential) Experience within the construction industry (desirable) Experienced in building and maintaining client relationships (desirable)
