Payroll Team Leader
Interaction Accountancy and Finance have an exciting opportunity to join our Leighton Buzzard based client who are seeking to add a Payroll Team Leader to their growing Payroll team on a permanent basis. Purpose of the role: My client has a friendly, growing Payroll team and is now looking for an eager Payroller with previous management experience who is looking to progress their skillset with a growing organisation
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring that all data keyed is correct so the payroll data can be checked by the Payroll Manager
• Supervise the accurate entry of data onto system to include starters, leavers and change of details
• Actively chase employees for outstanding paperwork/information to ensure that cut offs are met and employees are paid on time
• Providing an escalation time if Payroll Administrators cant achieve the deadlines required
• Support and offer guidance to new starters to ensure that they are picking up the necessary training given
• Checking the accuracy of variable data when performing temporary elements for commission, bonuses and overtime
• Check correspondence that has been prepared by Payroll Administrators, particularly that which is to be issued to employees who have applied for other types of statutory leave
• Ensure attachment of earnings orders are processed correctly through the payroll to ensure correct deductions are made from employees salaries Required experience, skills and attributes:
• 3 years experience in Payroll, preferably to line management level
• Experience of Resourcelink is desirable
• Ability to communicate clearly with your team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proactive attitude towards work
• Ability to work within a team environment.
