Accounts Payable Specialist Mash, one of the UK's leading staffing agencies, is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant / Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team in our offices in London Bridge. Founded in 2004, Mash has gone from strength to strength, with three departments - Promotional & Experiential, Corporate Event and Hospitality, and Retail. As our Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be working within the company's wider Finance team, reporting into the Financial Controller. You will have an exceptional level of attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a wide-ranging client base. The role will involve: Taking responsibility for all elements of the Accounts Payable function - including processing of invoices, credit notes, expenses incurred by staff, company credit cards and all other forms of company expenditure and payment preparation Ensuring that Payroll reports are extracted accurately from the relevant systems and communicated to the outsourced payroll provider - checking that information is processed accurately, and supporting with queries Providing support to the Financial Controller by supplying information and inputs for use in preparation of Management Accounts Providing general administrative support to the Finance function, including (but not limited to) being responsible for petty cash and monitoring of the Accounts email inbox The ideal candidate will be a motivated, proactive Accounts Payable Specialist or Assistant Accountant with proven experience, ideally (though not necessarily) in an agency or staffing environment. With a "can do" attitude, you will be joining Mash at a time of unprecedented growth - so an enthusiasm and passion for what you do is a must
