£60,000- 65,000 Highly Competitive Benefits Package Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract A pharmaceutical company based on the Science Park is looking for an individual to join them on a 12-month fixed term contract providing cover for an internal secondment. The role will be key to the continued success of a busy team and will report to the Head of Finance and duties will include; Production of monthly management accounts and review with group finance Providing Head of Finance with monthly company P&L with variances Overseeing annual standard cost calculation Accurate and timely issue of capital spend reports and meeting regularly with budget holders to review capital spend analysis Management of year-end processes Compiling presentations for the company leadership team or their strategic planning process Co-ordinating and collation of budgets Liaising with team and departments to achieve budget and their strategic planning requirements and deadlines Management of team, including training, day-to-day supervision ensuring high quality timely deliverables This role requires someone who has outstanding technical skills and is a post qualified accountant with proven experience working in a similar role. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels is extremely important to the success of this role. Experience of managing and leading a team is also key and whilst you will be there for advice and guidance, at times, there will be a requirement for you to cover for team members during periods of absence. This role will be interviewing imminently so candidates who are available at short notice would be preferred however a limited notice period will also be considered.
