Assistant Accountant Salary up to £26k We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to be based in our Belfast office, with a proficiency in business analytics as well as strong excel and communication skills. Ideally you will be a part qualified accountant/accounting technician and working towards an accountancy qualification. Experience with month end processes and ERP systems would be an advantage. Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for financial reporting for the Belfast office
• Preparation of monthly management accounts to tight deadlines
• Month end journal preparation
• Preparation of accruals & prepayments
• Overhead review and analysis
• Balance sheet analysis and reconciliations
• Input into annual external auditor queries
• Assist with the preparation of the statutory accounts in line with Financial Reporting Standards
• Delivery of ad hoc reports for senior management
• Strong attention to detail
