Our client is an acquisitive PE backed group. It is a market leading service provider with offices located throughout the UK. We are seeking an ambitious finance profession with the capability and desire to progress. Reporting to the Director of Finance you will be responsible for the management of the delivery of the statutory year end accounts, monthly reporting and other external reporting within agreed timetables. Responsibilities include: Management of the financial reporting and control team and the supporting the day to day management of the wider finance team alongside your peers in the management accounting, FP&A and credit control teams Managing the planning & preparation of all annual subsidiary statutory accounts to agreed deadlines Ownership of the preparation of the Group annual report and financial statements, including coordination of senior stakeholders to ensure documents are reviewed and feedback is incorporated and tracked Management of the external audit, planning and timing of statutory accounts audit work and managing the interaction with the delivery of statutory reporting Delivery of the month end flash reporting, group consolidation and cashflow reporting, providing high level concise commentary and analysis of results Preparation of the monthly board report, including co-ordination of senior contributors and ensuring feedback is incorporated and tracked Support as required to the Management accounting and FP&A teams on technical and any other reporting matters Providing support to the FP&A team during the budget and forecasting process Review and delivery of the quarterly covenant workings Responsible for the review of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations Management of the group Capex budget partnering the group COO / CIO / CCO to ensure it is accurately managed, reported and forecasted Preparation of quarterly VAT returns, CT61 returns and Corporation tax POA calculations Management of the planning and delivery of the Corporation tax year end process with the external tax team Support with ad-hoc financial reporting developments / projects / M&A, as and when required Management of senior stakeholders around the group, liaising directly with the Group CFO, operational management and external auditors Qualifications and requirements: You will be a qualified Accountant, preferably having trained with a large accountancy practice Extensive experience of preparing consolidations and cashflows Experience of drafting annual reports, including IFRS and FRS102 knowledge. Advanced Excel Skills Experience of working within a listed or PE backed environment You need to be resilient and able to meet targets in a pressured environment Previous experience of managing a financial reporting team and reporting to the board Capability to work in a fast paced/high change business You should possess excellent time management skills, high integrity and professionalism You need to be a self-motivated team player who is an adaptable and has a positive attitude to change If you choose to email us in response to this advert please keep the data you send us to a minimum, i.e. your CV (in Word) , your email address and your contact number.
