Outsourcing Bookkeeping Assistant
• Newcastle Upon Tyne
• Full-time permanent
• £22K-£30K - Depending on experience
• Immediate Hire A well-established Accountancy practice located in Newcastle city centre have experienced considerable growth and require an experienced Account Assistant who has considerable experience working within a Practice environment. The role includes;
• Carrying out book-keeping on cloud software for a variety of medium-large sized clients
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Transactions/Payments
• Liaising with stakeholders.
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Attending client meetings off site as & when required Required skills & experience; AAT Qualified - preferably Level 4/pending OR qualified by experience Strong background within the Financial sector MUST have worked in an Accountancy Practice for 3 years Excellent computer skills with good knowledge of Xero/ Cloud Software/QuickBooks and associated apps such as ReceiptBank. Person Specification;
• A candidate who can communicate with managers within the practice and external clients
• Ability to meet deadlines and work conscientiously
• Be positive and committed to the firm and represent them in a professional manner reflecting core values when dealing with both staff and clients
• Relevant book-keeping and systems experience are essential to be considered for this role.
