Your new role
Assisting the finance department in day to day requirements, specifically surrounding accounts payable whilst line managing one junior member of staff. Duties include all aspects of purchase and sales ledger, preparing payment runs, posting journals to the general ledger, maintenance of the fixed asset register, completing VAT returns and bank reconciliations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a ledger clerk or ledger clerk supervisor role. You will have good problem solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes. You will have excellent people skills and the confidence to line manage. Ideally you will be AAT Qualified or working towards.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £24,000 - £28,000 dependent on experience. 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). Life insurance, private medical and pension.
