Assistant Accountant Job paying £27000-£32000 per annum on a Permanent basis.

Your new company is a well-established charity based in Central London. They are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant role on a permanent, full-time basis. The company is undergoing a period of change with ambitious plans in terms of growth.

Your new role
Your new role will be supporting the Finance Business Partner in the smooth and efficient running of the finance function. Your new role will consist of the following duties; purchase ledge, sales ledger and banking activities ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and managed in a timely manner. You will also be assisting with the preparation of budgets, management accounts, statutory accounts and the annual audit process, including monthly accounting adjustments, reconciliations and other supporting documentation.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be AAT qualified or a part-qualified accountant with a detailed practical knowledge of Sage financial systems and protocols. In addition, you will need to have an in-depth experience and demonstrable skill of working with purchase ledger, sales ledger and banking including accurate data entry. It is vital to have a proactive and self-sufficient approach with the willingness and ability to make effective decisions using your own initiative.
