Job Details

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for providing accurate, timely and relevant information on financial and business performance. Key elements of the role include preparing monthly consolidated accounts for the various group companies within the business to strict reporting deadlines. Assist in the implementation of best in class financial systems and procedures to facilitate timely and accurate financial information on a monthly basis.

Description

  • Provide monthly consolidated financial accounts for the various business operations to agreed reporting deadlines
  • Develop and enhance the existing group consolidation models and associate back-up schedules
  • Assist in the implementation of best in class financial systems and procedures
  • Prepared ad-hoc financial performance reports on an as require basis
  • Assist in the annual statutory audit process for all group companies as required
  • Design and implement intercompany accounting procedures for all group company transactions
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly group VAT returns
  • Complete all property invoicing requirements and accounting for all company related transactions
  • Assist the finance function with ongoing improvement of key internal control processes to insure their continued effectiveness in line with Group and best practice
  • Assist in the documenting and maintenance of all financial processes and procedures
  • Assist in the management of treasury and cash flow forecasting requirements within the group
  • Assist in the implementation of agreed recommendations from external audits
  • Define KPI requirements and develop reporting.

Profile

  • ICAS newly qualified with excellent financial control experience and technical accounting acumen
  • Superior knowledge and experience of Microsoft 365 products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • A self-starter, highly motivated with a continuous improvement focus and attention to detail
  • Experience of ERP level accounting systems
  • Desire to progress within a rapidly growing organisation

Job Offer

  • Salary of £40,000 - £43,000
  • Pension employer contribution up to 9% (3% more than employee)
  • Travel pass
