Job Details

A fantastic opportunity for sales ledger manager/senior has recently become available within our clients well established and renowned organisation.As the Sales ledger manager/senior you will take ownership of the larger sales ledger accounts ensuring that all invoices, discounts and fees are posted correctly and the ledger kept reconciled and up to date. You will also be exposed to some of the balance sheet responsibilities.

A thriving and reputable manufacturing company who specialise in offering a variety of bespoke services to clients across the country, are now looking to expand there current finance team after experiencing year on year growth.

Description

The role of the sales ledger manager/ senior will include but not limited to :

  • Act as the main contact for the company`s larger sales ledger accounts
  • Oversee the timely collection of cash from customers
  • Ensuring all credit limits are insured and carry out necessary due diligence on all new accounts
  • Reconciliation of sales ledger control
  • Manage and resolve any key sales invoice queries
  • Produce month end debt analysis for the group financial controller
  • Posting bank receipts to allocated accounts

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following :

  • Experience of working within a sales ledger position - Essential
  • Excellent excel skills, including VLook Ups and pivot tables - Essential
  • Strong communication skills - Essential
  • Ability to build relationships and negotiate payment plans with problematic accounts - Essential
  • Hard working and positive attitude - Essential
  • Experience of dealing credit insurances - Essential
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload - Essential
  • AAT qualified for working towards qualification - Desirable
  • Natural applitude of technology and understand current trends - Essential
