Part Time Financial Controller

A Part Time Financial Controller job in London, responsible for hands on financial management of this global real estate development and investment business.

This International real estate business has presence across a number of continents including over £50bn of assets under management including everything from residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments. With a rapidly expanding Student Accommodation portfolio continuing to acquire new developments, your new company also acts as a property and asset manager bolstering the steady revenue streams. With a friendly and professional company culture, additional workload has led to this part time position being created.

Your new role
Your Part Time Financial Controller role will support the growing UK team which is forecasted to continue developing its portfolio from both a development and management perspective. With a small local team you'll be tasked with responsibility of producing investor reports including analysis of the Student Accommodation portfolio performance, alongside managing and reviewing work of the outsourced finance function responsible for financial reporting. Due to the increased activity, financial due diligence and investment appraisals of new acquisitions will also form part of your work.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong academic background and be a ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant ideally completed whilst at an accountancy practice. After taking a move out of practice, you will now have experience of working within industry with experience of fundamental financial and management reporting. In addition, a good interest and understanding of the real estate market will support your ability to provide strategic insights. Strong Excel modelling capabilities will be required on a daily basis, and you will have natural communication skills, energy and charisma to fit into this high calibre environment.
