CMA is exclusively working with a Segensworth based business to recruit an Assistant Accountant specialising in VAT in a newly created role due to growth of the business. The role will support in improving processes and procedures and be the point of contact for VAT compliance. Duties will include: UK & EU Vat Returns, EC Sales & Intrstat; Identify tax risks during the VAT compliance process; Improvement of processes and procedures; Assist in audits; Reconciliation of general ledger tax balances; SOX reporting; Updating VAT documentation as legislation changes; Supporting the wider finance team. This role would suit an individual who enjoys VAT and Tax work who is looking for a role that they can take ownership of. The ideal applicant will have SAP experience and previously processed EU VAT returns. Candidates with relevant qualifications and a desire to specialise in VAT will also be considered.
