Hunter Global are actively recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to be based at our client's site in Lincoln on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities - Take ownership of an allocated ledger, actively reducing Aged Debt. Chasing outstanding debts by phone, letter and email. Processing and generating reminder letters. Prepare and distribute monthly debtor statements. Main point of contact for all customer account-based queries. Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices. Monitoring and reporting potential bad debts. Customer credit note production. Processing daily credit card payments. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills - You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a polite, tactful but assertive manner. Excellent telephone skills are essential. Good numerical and organisational skills. Efficient and meticulous with a good eye for detail. You'll be able to work in a very high-volume environment. Smart appearance and professional manner. A team player and good time keeper. Flexible. Experience - Credit control experience, ideally at least 1 year Working knowledge of SAGE accounts preferred Previous telephone experience with customers and suppliers.
