Job Description: Core-Asset's client in Stirling is seeking a newly/recently qualified accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role which has come about as a result of business growth. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to join a small finance team where they can take ownership and responsibility. You will be supporting the senior finance team, with coaching and oversight responsibility for trainee accountants in their delivery of a range of financial analysis and reporting. This is a varied role which will see the successful candidate being involved in, financial planning and analysis; management accounting; stakeholder reporting; and statutory financial reporting. Essential: Qualified / Finalist level accountant. Attention to detail, strong numeracy, verbal and written communication. An ability to work independently and contribute positively in a team environment. Track record of identifying and implementing improvements. Comfortable working in a feedback culture with an ambition to develop skills and experience. Self-motivated. Approachable manner. Pragmatic approach. Willingness to adhere to and encourage the company ethos and ethics Desirable: Real estate investment finance experience. Previous Financial Services experience

Responsibilities:
Whilst complying with financial regulations, legislation and procedures, the core responsibility and activity of the job holder will be the quarterly fund accounting process for the main market listed client, including but not limited to: Preparation and analysis of quarterly consolidated management accounts and associated Stock Exchange reporting. Ensuring regular tax and compliance returns are prepared and submitted for review. Proactive contribution to control environment enhancements, ensuring robustness and fit-for-purpose as business evolves. Supervision of finance team administrative tasks (petty cash, expense claims, ledger maintenance). Being a point of contact with a range of advisers, such as auditors and tax advisers, to facilitate the preparation of group and subsidiary financial statements. Quarterly reporting to lenders, including monitoring and analysis of lending covenant positions. Preparing and analysing management information for senior management, investors and quarterly Board meetings. Additional

Responsibilities:
Business forecasting and variance analysis. Preparation and collation of quarterly Board packs and Audit Committee papers. Research and coordination on investor relations and queries. Providing information to assist in preparation of Fund Investor presentations. Involvement in other ad-hoc analysis and projects as required.
