Your role will see you working on a wide range of tax matters, overseeing the department's compliance work and providing tax advisory services to the firm's clients. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and will be experienced in all aspects of the Tax Return process. You will be responsible for the reviewing of other colleagues work and managing the compliance side of the department's activities. In addition to compliance work, you will have the opportunity to undertake tax planning work for the firm's clients which are largely made up of owner-managed businesses and attend client meetings. You will also provide support to trainees and work alongside other departments within the firm. Previous tax planning experience is essential, you must have a good technical knowledge and be experienced in managing a client portfolio. Experience in dealing with Company Directors, Partnerships, Sole Traders, Trusts and Estates, Landlords and Non-Residents is essential, as well as a sound knowledge of CGT and IHT.
