Privately owned, multi-national Manufacturing Group based in Portsmouth has a newly created position for a Head of Finance to work with the existing Group Finance Director to manage and improve the group's financial systems and reporting. Key responsibilities of the position will include preparation and analysis of monthly management information for both internal and external stakeholders; production of statutory accounts for UK and multinational entities; management of the accounting function to ensure compliance with all corporate taxes and legislation; management of the annual budgeting process including liaising with key stakeholders. The successful applicant will also undertake a review of all existing processes implementing improvements continuously to adapt and accommodate the business' continued growth. Applicants for the position will hold a full accountancy qualification and possess a strong all round technical skill set gained either within Public Practice or Commerce and Industry. Proven communication, negotiation and presentation skills will also be essential to undertake the role successfully.
