Financial AnalystLondonContract - 8 MonthsOur client is looking for someone to assist with the preparation of internal/external financial and board reports as well as additional ad hoc analysis. This will help create meaningful business information for the company by evaluating trends and common business issues. What's more, you will also be responsible for the training on the company's business intelligence systems.Key Responsibilities Analysis of the company's subsidiaries to ensure integrity and understanding. You will need to understand and explain any irregularities in data submissions from these subsidiaries to monitor variances of budget and performance against forecastTake part in operational reviews to ensure group development and control is metPrepare monthly reports of subsidiary forecasts for the Board of Directors, highlighting risks and issuesYou will become the point of contact for subsidiaries to assist with accounting or other reporting systems queriesResearch and reporting of technical accounting issues to ensure the group meets all requirementsManage the electronic transactions to ensure cash management/transactional deadlines are met. Essential Skills Previous experience in a hybrid role of complex analysis and financial accounting reportingInternational experience (External or Internal)Previous experience with multi-currency environmentsQualified in ACA or equivalentConfident to give presentations to management staff in the operating companiesDetailed knowledge of analysis and reportingExperience of UKGAAP and IFRS Desirable Skills Bilingual - ability to speak in one or more European languages would be beneficial If you fit the above skill set and are interested in this role, please forward over a copy of your CV ASAP.
