The Finance Director and Controller based in London will have the following
responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation of financial statements and necessary filings with regulators Coordinate the preparation of the Annual Plan and Forecasts for the revenue, expenses, AUM and net cash flows as inputs to the annual planning cycle Monitor all finance outsourcing arrangements including to the Group entities and report to the Board on the efficiency of those arrangements Collaborate closely with MAM Europe management and the global finance team to manage the timeline, deliverables, and analysis associated with the forecast and annual plan packages. The incumbent will report directly in the International Head of Finance and will manage and oversee the reporting function for global legal entities. The incumbent will be the face and representative in London for the Investment Division finance team and will ensure that the European arm fully benefits from global finance capabilities and that the European arm is fully connected with global finance teams This person will manage a global team of finance professionals located in overseas and London and also will be supported by the global finance team. Participate i ongoing transformation and automation projects The Finance Director and Controller based in London will have had the following exposure: Qualified accountant (CA, CGA, CMA or CPA) 10 years of finance/accounting experience including global people and functional leadership experience Asset Management Industry experience and a strong understanding of the investment funds and fund accounting Strong previous experience in a UK regulated asset manager, including strong regulatory knowledge Comprehensive knowledge of external reporting requirements, sound business practices and controls and accounting/audit principles which apply to the asset management industry and /financial services in general Demonstrated experience in working with senior management and various business partners to become a trusted business advisor and deliver results Our client is a large investment and wealth management firm with a growing presence in London Excellent salary and bonus prospects
