Day to day duties will include: Manage the monthly reporting process, liaising with the other teams within the finance department Production of monthly timetables and communicate with the wider finance team Preparation of the monthly Financial Reporting Pack, Flash Report and Board KPI packs for presentation to the Executive Management Team and the Board Prepare the summary commentary and variance analysis for inclusion in the monthly management reports Actively improve the reporting process, always seeking out increased efficiency's and effectiveness in conveying the message to the business Review monthly and forecast balance sheet and cashflow analysis and to actively improve the modelling for this Assist the Head of Planning and Reporting in producing supporting analysis for the Board and Executive Team Essential Experience For this role you are required to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Industry experience is essential and you must have sound technical accounting skills You must have strong Excel and data analysis skills Excellent presentation skills with high attention to detail To be successful in this role you must maintain a calm approach under pressure and have the ability to work in a fast passed, high pressured environment Desirable Experience Good knowledge of planning and reporting systems Experience using Oracle Your role will be to manage the end-to-end process for the preparation of financial and management reporting for the Group, including: Monthly financial reporting pack Board reporting packs Exec Flash Report Corporate reporting to shareholders You will be responsible for the coordination of planning activities, preparation of quarterly forecasts, the annual budget and corporate plan. £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary plus additional benefits
