My client was established over 30 years ago and initially started as a family owned business, winning several national contracts they continued to grow and now have in excess of 3000 employees and a turnover in excess of £100m.

They are seeking an ambitious and skilled Assistant Accountant to enable the implementation of new processes to enable the continued growth.

Description

This Assistant Accountant role will include the following;

*Preparing monthly management accounts, P&L, Balance Sheets and Reconciliations

*Managing the stock flow process

*Fixed assets

*Controlling general accruals and pre payments

*Working closely with site managers and regional managers to influence operational activities, controlling costs and maintain controllable processes

*Production on various daily, weekly and monthly MI reporting

*Prepare and present slides alongside the site manager at a monthly performance review of sites that you are supporting

*Forecasting and budgeting - monthly, quarterly and annually.

*Proficient/active SAP user

Profile

This Assistant Accountant role will require;

*CIMA/ACCA part qualified status achieved - actively studying

*Excellent excel knowledge

*Current/Proficient SAP user

*Strong attention to detail

*Able to work well within a team or work independently

*Great work attitude
