The successful candidate will likely have the following
responsibilities:
Processing purchase and sales invoices, ensuring approval by relevant budget owner Responsible for payment of purchase invoices and analysis of sales receipt Completing bank reconciliations Processing and paying business expenses including credit cards and ensuring adherence with company policies Managing petty cash Managing day to day transactions Reporting on creditors and debtors as required Handling accruals and prepayments Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts Balance Sheet reconciliations Preparation of VAT returns Maintain accounting documents and records, ensuring all files are up to date Other ad hoc finance duties The successful candidate will likely have the following profile: At least 3 years' in a similar role with proven results Prior knowledge working in a small to medium sized finance function Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance desirable Ability to think independently and come up with solutions to problems High levels of organisation and accuracy Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Sage experience advantageous but not essential Confidence and willingness to learn Our client is Global Business based in the Heart of Glasgow.
