This Accounts Payable Clerk position will involve: Bank reconciliations Reconciliation of Supplier Statements Analysis of the Purchase Ledger Batching High Volumes of Invoices Dealing with the Filing Systems Checking & posting invoices Ensuring that a back log of invoices have been put through the proper approval process Preparing invoices for a payment run The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will: Have good solid Purchase Ledger Experience Be comfortable with Microsoft Excel and using it a lot Have ideally used Sage Be able to work to tight deadlines & under pressure Have problems solving abilities Have a good telephone manner when dealing with queries My client are a business based in St. Albans near the high street. They aren't yet a household name but are growing and offer good stability from a financial perspective as well.
