Description
Lead the Financial Planning and Analysis unit, ensuring that financial sustainability is maintained and the unit acts as a trusted business partner to budget holders, management and trustees helping ensure optimal resource allocation.
Provide timely, accurate and insightful financial management information and authoritative advice to support decision making and developing the effectiveness of the team.
Improving systems and helping to build financial management capacity throughout the organisation.
Play a key role in evaluating the financial aspects of all business cases and investment appraisals.
Take responsibility for reserves management including management of restricted funds. Important will be the ability to deliver best practice finance business partnering by keeping abreast of the latest professional and technical developments and using knowledge gained to develop our systems and processes.
Profile
Qualified Accountant
Previously led a Finance Business Partnering function
Solid exposure to reviewing performance, systems, processes and oversee change management programmes
Use of the financial system Sun would be advantageous
