Financial Accountant job based in West Sussex, paying up to £45k

Your new company
You will be working for an innovative company based in modern offices in West Sussex, reporting to the Senior Accountant and Finance Director.

Your new role
You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial and management information to help inform decision making. Key responsibilities will include producing all monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts at a departmental and consolidated level, analysing and reporting on key variances within the management accounts, producing rolling cash forecasts, assisting in the production of the audited statutory accounts, producing VAT returns, and designing and producing ad-hoc reporting as requested. Additionally, you will be involved in the annual business planning and quarterly forecasting processes, and assist the Finance Director in providing guidance on pricing decisions.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience of preparing management accounts and a good understanding of UK GAAP. Advanced Excel skills are essential along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with staff at all levels across the business.
