This Role will support the Head of Finance, in all aspects of financial accounting and reporting such as month end/ year end reporting, Balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, and regular budget/ forecasting of the company results.

Oversee Assistant Management Accountants, and provide training and development
Manage the monthly production of accounts.
Play a key part in ensuring budgets and forecasts are produced in a timely and efficient manner
Monthly review meetings organised with senior Finance team and business including club visits
Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and uploads
Quarterly VAT return submitted
Annual budgeting and periodic re forecasting
Capital expenditure approvals, tracking, post investment appraisals
Support audit process
Support internal/external stakeholders with upskilling, training, queries as required
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Qualified, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Prior experience in a similar role preferable
Ability to interpret varying quantities of data and identify key drivers
Intermediate Excel skills
Organised with good time management skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
£40,000- £45,000 depending on experience
