To manage the "post acquisition" process for a fast paced, entrepreneurial, listed business.

Client Details

A hugely acquisitive, dynamic, FTSE listed business.


The role is broad but with an overall focus on integrating newly acquired businesses into the broader group.

To develop a flexible, "Financial Playbook" in order that recently acquired businesses know what to expect from the integration and beyond!

To own and manage the financial integration of the individual businesses. Project manage the transition to a standardised structure. Ensure that the acquired business adopts the financial systems, processes and controls of the group.

Review post M&A "success criteria". Analyse which acquisitions worked well, which didn't.


The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (likely an ACA) with previous experience of integrating businesses following acquisition.

Bright, results focused, and with excellent Project Management skills, the successful candidate will thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment, and will be able to work extensively with the CFO, CEO, M&A Director, FD etc to ensure that acquisitions (typically businesses of £20M - £50M t/o), are as efficiently integrated into the business as possible.

A background in TS or CF is potentially beneficial.

A proven track record of integrating acquired businesses into an existing group is essential.
