Pricing Analyst job based in Surrey, paying up to £60k


Your new company
You will be working for an established financial services organisation based in Surrey, reporting to the Head of Pricing.

Your new role
Your primary role will be to deliver evaluations of portfolios available for purchase to assist the UK business in assessing, valuing and acquiring debt portfolios. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing and preparing vendor data received to load into pricing models; assessing data for consistency and exclusions and, where necessary, requesting additional data to allow a proper valuation; analysing data and identifying appropriate benchmark data to assist validation; and understanding and running pricing valuation utilising available pricing methodologies. Additionally, you will prepare and present internally pricing proposals including a summary and critique of the opportunity plus justification for valuation including the use of appropriate benchmarks, and monitor performance of new acquisitions and liaise with Analytics to ensure current portfolio performance.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Analyst with extensive experience of working with and manipulating large datasets. Your technical knowledge will include Base SAS and SAS/STAT to a high standard, along with advanced Excel ideally to macro level. You will have strong presentation and communication skills including the ability to report to and interact with senior management.
