Your new role
This new role will based based in the head office of the retail company a 10 minute walk from Bond Street station. You will be working within a team of 2 in finance reporting to the Finance Manager. The role will be working alongside the Finance Manager, assisting her with the finance function. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to progress and take on more duties in their next role.
What you'll need to succeed
The role will consider two different profiles; one is that of someone who has experience with the below duties and keen to remain within this sort of role or someone with around 1 - 2 years of experience who is keen to take on more. Key duties include:
- High volume invoice processing
- Multi-currency bank reconciliations
- Reconciliation of Sales Control Accounts
- Responsible for all AP functions
- Dealing with supplier statements and queries
- Payment runs
- Responsible for all AR functions
- Reviewing of all expense claims
- Managing petty cash
- Posting of POs from source system
- Month end duties - accruals, journals and prepayments
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Preparation of monthly agent sales commission report
- Systems used: Quickbooks
