Finance Systems Accountant required to join a leading Professional Services organisation in their central Bristol office.

Description

As the Finance Systems Accountant you will work closely with the internal IT team, and other relevant stakeholders, to ensure the smooth day to day running of company system, performing system data reconciliations, system management procedures (such as month end close and maintenance of the chart of accounts) and be responsible for extracting data for ad-hoc reports.

This role is an exciting mix of finance professional and technical specialist, you will need to be strategic in your approach, highly analytical and passionate about problem solving. The ability to establish credibility quickly as a leader and Manager will be beneficial; this role will also have responsibility for managing the Finance Systems Analyst.

The ideal Finance Systems Accountant will have solid experience of finance systems and an understanding of the workings of a finance function. Experience of managing processes and controls is required. You should have good interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate good organisational skills, have advanced Excel skills and be able to use SQL.

Profile

Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA

Key skills required:

• Designing, implementing and managing finance processes and policies using ERP systems or similar.
• Finance systems support / administration and implementation experience.
• Ability to write SQL queries.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to problems solve.
