Description

The role of Finance Manager will involve:

• Coordinating the production of the monthly management accounts and key financial reports

• Managing and developing 1 direct report

• Representing finance at regional meetings, delivering finance presentations and providing key updates

• Developing methods to analyse and understand drivers in key revenue / cost and profit areas for improved forecasting / budgeting purposes, ultimately leading to better decision making

• Regular process review and developing and managing changes where necessary

• CAPEX preparation, submission and reporting

• Liaising with auditors (including that of a small statutory entity)

• Reviewing balance sheet controls

• Liaising with multiple stakeholders in resolving finance related queries

• Support the Interim Finance Director with the Budget and Forecast Process

Profile

• Qualified Accountant/Finalist

• Excellent Excel skills

• Ability to work as part of and lead a team

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

• Excellent analytical skills - able to understand the commercial implications of the data
