Your new company
I am working with a growing SME business based near Telford who have a permanent job vacancy for a CIMA/ACCA/ACCA Qualified Accountant or applicants qualified by experience. This role has been created following a staffing restructure and a response to plans to grow business and double turnover over next 5 years. We are seeking an ambitious self-starter who has management experience who can help support cost & efficiency savings as well as bring new ideas for future development

Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Management team and managing a small finance team you will prepare monthly management accounts, bank reconciliations as well as maintain ledgers and fixed assets and purchase ledger. You will work with external accountants to support with year as well as budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. As well as this your role will be strategic managing several projects as you help the business by providing useful management information to help decision making and develop systems to allow greater control of costs.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a fully qualified accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA but will also consider part-qualified/qualified by experience accountants who have a suitable transferable skillset. Previous experience preparing management accounts and managing a small team would is essential. Experience in a hands-on role, ideally within a growing SME setting would also be an advantage.
