Working as a Finance Manager, reporting into the Financial Controller, working closely to the Finance Director in a listed technology company, clear mapped progression.

Description
The Finance Manager is a newly created position within the Finance function, responsible for Group European reporting within Group and compliance with UK, France, German and Spain.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations in order to present accurate and on-time monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
You will be responsible for liaising with key stakeholders, presenting to the board across the US and Europe including the US teams, in relation to accounting and tax filings for all European entities.
The business is a dynamic and innovative business, always looking to improve efficiencies and improve. As such, you will be expected to play an energetic and proactive leadership role reviewing, analysing and overseeing certain key projects to further align global systems and processes.

Profile
Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA,ACCA or equivalent)
Experience of accounting for European entities and knowledge of local reporting and tax requirements in European jurisdictions (especially Germany, Spain, France and UK)
German language skills will be an advantage
Good working knowledge of local European GAAPs and FRS 102 and/or IFRS.
Knowledge of US GAAP is advantageous, not essential
Experience implementing ERP and accounting systems is desirable
Experience using Oracle Cloud or similarly ERP is highly desirable
Highly organised and demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines and timetables
Effective time management and prioritisation skills
Experience working on complex issues where analysis of situations and/or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables
