Our client, a well known and growing organisation are looking for a Purchase Ledger to join their Accountancy team in Sutton.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register all invoices
  • Send off invoices to budget holders for authorisation.
  • Ensure invoices are authorised.
  • Ensure correct posting of VAT.
  • Filing of invoices.
  • Process payments by cheque run, BACS and CHAPS payments.
  • Process Direct Debits and Standing Orders on finance system and excel.
  • Dealing with supplier queries.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Allocating control accounts.

Profile

Successful Candidate:

  • Excellent Excel skills - Vlookups/Pivots/Summifs
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Previous experience in a similar position
