Accountant role in Newbury

Your new company

My client is a Newbury based recycling business, who are looking for a hands on Accountant to join their office team. The right candidate will have experience of working in an all-round SME environment, including processing payroll, and be happy to get involved in a wide range of tasks. They have onsite parking, and can offer flexi hours to candidates should they require it.

Your new role

• Weekly payroll for 40 employees (using SAP Business 1)
• Management costings
• Product cost analysis
• Credit control
• All aspects of purchase ledger - supplier reconciliations, raising payments and entering invoices
• Entering of sales invoices
• Supplier and customer query handling
• Ad hoc duties as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience of processing payroll is essential
• Intermediate excel including pivot tables and v lookups
• Experience working in a similar all round role (ideally in an SME environment)
• A hands on attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Working with a high level of autonomy
• SAP experience desirable
