Our client is a large international business working in a very interesting business sector. They're currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant role based from their Farnborough, Hampshire office.

Description

As a Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant based from the Farnborough, Hampshire office you will be responsible for:

Payment of suppliers, posting of payments and receipts on Sage200, query resolution. Being the contact for external/internal suppliers and general accounts support within the department.

The Role:

The Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant should carry out at least the following functions:

*Maintain a good understanding of PL accounts. To include but not restricted to:

*Raising supplier payments

*Aged creditor reporting

*Supplier statement reconciliations

*PL invoice query resolution

*Scanning

Profile

The person should have:

  • A good knowledge of purchase ledger processes and accounts.
  • A good standard of IT skills being proficient in Excel and Word.
  • The ability to plan their workload and to work with minimal supervision.
  • Sage200 system experience is desirable but not essential
  • Good organisational, communication and IT skills.
  • An outgoing friendly personality with the ability to work within a small team and be an active team member.
