A management Accountant role with a market leading business based in Ruislip

This European leader is currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant based from their UK Head Office in Ruislip, West London.
This role would suit a qualified accountant. a finalist, a part-qualified accountant or someone with extensive accountancy experience.


Your new role
You would play a key role as part of a fast-paced and hard-working Finance department, taking sole ownership for reporting and analysis of the UK and ROI payroll against budget by employee, along with key overhead / margin reporting.
You will be expected to provide valuable insight into the numbers and will have many opportunities to impact the success of the business by creating new procedures and efficiencies.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Reporting on employee expense related overhead accounts and providing commercial commentary
• Presenting monthly payroll analysis to the management team, input into board pack presentations
• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
• Budget / forecast preparation
• Journal preparation and posting
• VAT experience required

You must be able to provide commercial insight into the numbers and will also be expected to create and monitor new procedures and efficiencies to streamline those already in place.


What you'll need to succeed
The role will suit an individual with proven financial reporting and analysis experience, with demonstrable experience of payroll analysis for medium-large sized workforces. Experience of working within a demanding, deadline-driven environment is essential: experience within FMCG, Retail or similar a huge bonus. A high standard of problem-solving ability; a creative approach to analysis plus strong competency in manipulating and developing large data sets and spreadsheets is necessary. You will be a well organised individual, able to multitask and prioritise a huge workload effectively, with strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail. Furthermore, you will be IT literate with advanced Excel skills and will be a confident communicator, comfortable liaising with senior management. What you'll get in return
Salary of £38,000 - 45,000 depending on relevant experience
