Management Accountant - Insurance job based in West Sussex, paying up to £45k plus benefits

Your new company
You will be working for a growing blue chip company based in West Sussex, within the Insurance Financial Reporting team.

Your new role
You will work with the Financial Reporting Manager and assist in the production of the monthly management accounts by preparing journals. Assist with premium bordereau processing and posting onto SAP. Prepare third-party commission statements and ensure settlement of amounts due. Produce the year-end statutory accounts for AIL. Including notes, commentary and analysis. Assist Group Technical in managing the process for implementing new standards/policies. Liaise with Group Tax, Fiscal Reps, Auditors and SAP team to resolve tax queries.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or ACMA) with insurance experience. Ability to research and apply regulatory standards (IFRS, UK GAAP). You will be highly motivated with a delivery orientated focus and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
