Within this role the Management Accountant will be working closely with the senior finance team to ensure the accurate and timely completion of the month end management accounts and corresponding processes.

Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

• Produce and review monthly management accounts for the senior finance team
• Inter-company transaction accounting
• Analysis and reporting of performance and profitability by job
• Oversight of the day to day financial ledgers and junior staff
• Reconciliation and review of the key accounting areas
• VAT returns/ import duty certificates / scale charges
• Oversight of assets register/ HP workings
• Preparation of cash-flows/budgets/forecasts as required.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Management Accountant will be:

• Part-qualified or finalist ACCA/CIMA
• Extensive experience working in MS Office, especially Excel
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both with internal resources and clients
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Willing to travel on occasion
• Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed
• Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy environments
